Cardboard Chair
For this project our objective was to build a cardboard chair that withstand a weight of 120 pounds. The chairs would be used in our passive solar home. We could use any design, shape, or size we wanted. The cardboard had to be single plied andno more than 1/4th inch thick, also we could only use 64 square feet with no use of glue or fasteners.
Reflection
THIS PROJECT WAS DEFINITELY MY FAVORITE. I had so much fun during this project! It was challenging but it was awesome to make. Our chair is so awesome looking thanks to Gabby and Sarah painting it last minute. Seriously, I don't want sound cocky but our chair is the best out of all the classes. Our chair has great integrity because it can hold over 200 pounds! We chose to focus on comfort and intergrity rather than economy. Our chair has great aesthetics and an all-around good look to it. My group worked so well together and very efficiently. We were the first group to finish in our class and it was still high-quality. I wouldn't do anything differently.
